It all depends on your healing ability but most of the people return to their work 3- 5 days after the hair transplant surgery.

Please inform our medical team about any chronic diseases you may have (such as diabetes or high blood pressure) and if you are regularly using medications.

Stop Smoking 1-2 weeks before your surgery date

Stop taking blood thinners (such as Aspirin, Coumadin, Heparin) under the control of your hematologist/internist/cardiologist 1-2 weeks before surgery.

Do not use any food supplements and medication containing multivitamins specially those containing vitamin E and vitamin C.

Do not use hair cosmetics and creams 1 week before the surgery.

Do not have any haircut 2 weeks before the surgery.

Try to eat pineapple, tomato, grapes, eggs, yoghurt, cheese, tuna and turkey before the surgery and try to avoid avocado, ginger, ginseng, broccoli, garlic, vegetable oils, nuts & seeds, omega 3 fatty acids, processed sugar and saturated fat.

1 day before surgery:

Stop drinking alcohol 1 day before the surgery.

Wash your hair well before the operation day and wear comfortable clothes for the surgery day.

Bring your passport and the payment with you on the surgery day.

Normally it takes between three to five months following surgery before the new transplanted hair follicles start to grow. At first the transplanted follicles will fall and the transplanted hair will initially grow in a very thin layer and gradually will grow thicker and fuller over time. After one year, a patient’s transplanted hair will be fully mature and will continue to grow for a life time.

The recovery time depends on the success of the hair transplant surgery. If performed by the wrong team, the surgery can be a disaster. A specialized team is very important for a good recovery as well as satisfactory results. Moreover, with the use of the FUE technique the incisions are small and barely felt.
