WHY NEWSTEM CLINIC?

Hair transplant is a plastic surgical procedure. This surgery is performed under local anesthesia and involves transfer of hair follicles to area of interest. The surgery should be done in an operating theater. Do not forget that hair transplant can be performed ONLY under the supervision of a plastic surgeon.

FUE HAIR TRANSPLANT

Hair transplant is a plastic surgical operation. In Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE), he optimum number of grafts to be transferred is being calculated by plastic surgeon after examining the patient. The plastic surgeon plans and designs the whole procedure beforehand. Patient’s head is shaved on the day of the hair transplant surgery. In FUE technique, grafts are removed one by one using a special micro motor without cutting or removing the donor skin. The grafts are then transferred to the receiving area according to the previous plan made by the surgeon. It is important to consider the natural hair growth direction during transfer. The whole procedure is performed under local anesthesia and can be usually completed within 1 day. There are no stitches after the surgery.

The advantages of FUE technique are faster healing process and more simple operation process.

NO-SHAVE HAIR TRANSPLANT

The first step in a standards hair transplant procedure is shaving of the head. No-shave hair transplant technique is an ideal alternative for male/female patients who do not wish to have their heads shaved. In no-shave hair transplant technique, patient undergoes hair transplant without shaving the head. Hence, it will not be very evident that the patient has undergone hair transplant. The duration of no-shave hair transplant procedure is usually 50% longer than standard FUE technique. The reason is that no-shave hair transplant operation needs more effort and time. No-shave hair transplant procedures may sometimes take up to 2 days to be completed.

No-shave hair transplant technique is ideal for the following patients: Businessmen with tight working schedules, patients who do not like to shave their heads and patients who don’t want it to be evident.

MOUSTACHE/BEARD TRANSPLANT

Moustache transplantation is an ideal solution for patients with loss in the mustache. The optimum number of grafts is calculated during examination by the plastic surgeon. The grafts are then removed as planned from donor area (back of the head) using FUE technique and transferred to the skin area above the upper lips.

Like any other hair transplant procedures, the first step in beard transplantation is the initial planning of the surgery by the plastic surgeon. During this stage, the plastic surgeon decides on factors such as optimum number of grafts and the area which is suitable for being a donor area.

In beard transplantation, many areas may be suited to be a donor area. Some areas are as the lower region of the beard, chest, lower parts of the back of the head or even the cheekbones. Transplantation from the cheekbone has a double advantage as it also removes unwanted hair in the area.

BROW TRANSPLANT

Brows play an important role on facial expression. Problems such as skin burns, injuries and vitamin deficiency may result in brow loss. Since brow loss will have a negative effect on facial expression, psychological problems may follow. FUE technique is used in brow transplant. Hair follicles are being removed from back of head and transferred to the area of interest, which is planned prior to surgery by the plastic surgeon. The Plastic surgeon designs the new brow’s shape and density according to patient’s requests.

Facial expressions can be greatly improved, thanks to brow transplant.

MESOTHERAPY/PRP

Mesotherapy procedure involves direct injection of minerals, amino acids and other nutrients into skin of the head. As a result, hair strands are nourished and strengthened directly from the follicles. After examination of the patient by the plastic surgeon, a mesotherapy plan specific for the patient is then designed. If mesotherapy is performed as recommended, small blood vessels will form around the hair follicles after some time. This makes the nutrition of hair follicles much more effective. Mesotherapy is a much more effective method for hair nutrition compared to other methods, since in mesotherapy nutrients are directly being injected into the hair follicles, whereas in other methods nutrients are applied externally to the head. Mesotherapy has many positive outcomes for the hair, such as obvious decrease in hair loss, increasing lifetime of hair, thickening of hair strands, and resulting in a brighter, voluminous hair.

P.R.P (Platelet Rich Plasma) hair treatment is a tissue regeneration method. Blood taken from patient is being centrifuged to separate the portion rich in platelets. This portion of plasma which is rich in platelets is then directly injected to the skin containing hair follicles, which helps decrease hair loss and strengthen hair follicles.

SCARLET S

Scarlet S, also known as the golden frequency, is a procedure involving an application of radio frequency energy under the skin using special designed micro needles. As a result of aging, collagen fibers under the skin start to loosen, and become separated. The application of radio frequency during Scarlet S procedure results in firming the collagen fibers as they come together again. This results in an activation of the cell growth factors on the skin’s surface, thereby reviving and strengthening hair follicles.

Approximately 15-20 thousand micro pores are created during the Scarlet S procedure, which gives very effective results. It is important to note that Scarlet S procedure is a painless procedure even though micro needling is being involved.
